Our Story
Our Team
When you first arrive at the estate you’re not only overwhelmed by its beauty, but also with the graciousness of our family run business bringing it all together.
Our History
The dream was to create a world class purpose-built Private Wedding Estate called Villa de Amore. This wedding venue would not only be amazingly beautiful, but would also offer an All-Inclusive wedding package which would make it easy and affordable for Southern California brides and couples to make memories of a lifetime.
The venue needed to provide privacy set in a peaceful backdrop and have wonderful panoramic views within easy driving distance of Southern California’s major airports. The Temecula Wine Country was the answer. Learn more about our history below.
1989
The land was purchased, Eileen began clipping images of how she wanted the Villa to look.
8/1/03
We hosted our first wedding, and the dream became a reality.
2/7/07
We planted 10 acres of Nebiolo Grapes, which really solidified the vineyard concept we had always strived for. At this point, Eileen was coordinating all the weddings, and David was working as a bartender/property manager.
7/1/10
David began managing the business full time, giving Eileen more free time to have fun with landscaping and plans for expansion.
1/9/14
Michael graduated from culinary school and became our head chef, while Amy took over the management of our catering department. We created a new commercial kitchen, and updated the reception room, bridal suite, grooms room, and cocktail bar.
4/7/15
Eileen purchased Rivard Farms, a 10 acre orchard in the Temecula area where we produce our own Orange juice, Grapefruit Juice, Lime juice, and lemon juice for the Villa bar. Rivard Farms is the location of the workshop for our newly formed Villa de Amore Floral Design Center.
